PVDF Pipe
Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) is a highly non-reactive and pure thermoplastic, and partially fluorinated. PVDF is a specialty plastic material in the fluoropolymer family. It is used generally in applications requiring the highest purity, strength, and resistance to solvents, acids, bases and heat and low smoke generation during a fire event.
PVDF shows good mechanical, thermal and electrical properties, with excellent chemical resistance. It has good resistance to UV, corrosion and radiation. It also has good wear resistance and sliding properties making it a versatile engineering material.
Key Features
1) Temperature: -30°C up to +140°C (150°C short term).
2) Chemically resistant to most acids, aliphatic and aromatic organic compounds, chlorinated solvents, and alcohols
3) Good electrical insulation properties.
4) Excellent resistance to UV and weathering.
5) High purity and very low water absorption
6) Good resistance to wear
8) FDA approved
